Nothing is more exciting than hearing “your bear script sold.” Nothing is more disappointing than hearing “there’s no budget for you to attend the shoot and watch the bear eat 86 ice cream sandwiches on set.”
Stand-Up Comedy
Telling jokes to strangers is an on-and-off hobby of mine. I don’t see a Netflix special coming anytime soon but it can be a lot of fun. I’ve performed at big-name comedy clubs, no-name gastropubs, seedy dive bars, and dark basements.

Most of my time working on a bank was creating ads for credit cards, home equity loans, and checking accounts. Then came along an assignment to make something for the youth and nothing but the youth.
